Not much of a B-Ball fan (I know-- it's blasphemy), but anyone can see that this figure is spectacular.
I'll let the pics do the talking. Sadly, no Hanes t-shit included.
Look for him in April. Apparently, he's gonna be around the $400 mark, but I need to confirm that for sure.

TOY NEWS FOR 3/29/2013 - PLAY IMAGINATIVE - IRON MAN 3 - 1/6 AND 1/4 SCALE DIECAST SUPER ALLOY FIGURES
Wonder why you have to pay so much more for Iron Man 3 figures from Hot Toys now that they've decided to go with diecast part? There reason is right here: Play Imaginative's Super Alloy Iron Man 3 figures.
When another 1/6 scale company (mainly HK based) comes up with am idea of piece that HT hasn't done yet, they will more than likely try to cut them off at the pass and grab as much of the pie as they can.
If Play Imaginative hadn't produced diecast figures, then it's more than likely that Hot Toys wouldn't bother. But one the gauntlet is thrown, HT will always pick it up.
But, enough about all of that. This post is about Play Imaginative's new upcoming Iron Man 3 figures. Slated for release is Iron Man Mk 42, Iron Patriot and War Machine-- all of which will be released in both a 1/6 and a huge 1/4 scale!
For those who really want these, the bad news is that they are made solely for the Singapore market. Of course, several online US sellers are likely to import these, but that's gonna jack up the price quite a bit for the rest of us.
Look for them to start hitting the market in Sept, but look to secure a pre-order for them ASAP! If they do make it to US shores, they'll be in a very limited quantity! Happy hunting!

BANDAI - ULTRA-ACT - ULTRAMAN NEXUS - JUNIS BLUE FORM
I'm not overly familiar with Ultraman outside of his original few incarnations and series, so I didn't a little quick Wikipedia search on Ultraman Nexus here, and here's a quick little snippet on his Junis Blue form:
"Junis Blue mode is a blue version of Junis, generally sleeker in appearance and overall faster and more agile than the previous modes. It has all the powers of Junis, plus three more and is primarily used by Ren Senjyu. Junis Blue's finisher is Over Arrow Ray Storm, a narrow beam fired from an energy bow created from the Armed Nexus on Ultraman's forearm."
So there you have it! But of course, if you're interested in this figure, then you probably already know all about UM Nexus! The figure certainly looks great!
I love the original UM designs because they are classics, but the second generation of Ultras have some really fantastic designs!
He'll be released in July for 37.99

TOY NEWS FOR 3/29/2013 - BANDAI - UPCOMING RE-RELEASES - KAMEN RIDER & ULTRAMAN
For anyone who missed out on these, Bandai will be re-releasing the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider V3 as well as the Ultra-Act Utraman Zoffy.
I missed out on the both the first and second release of the original Ultra-Act Ultraman, so this might be a suitable substitute. The only thing that visually separates the original Ultraman from UM Zoffy are the little rivets on this chest and solders. Still, I really do hope that they'll do a third release on the original UM.
Both will be available again in July. V3 will cost you Y3,150 (approx $34.00) and Zoffy will be Y3,360 (approx $36.00).

TOY NEWS FOR 3/23/2013 - BANDAI - SOUL OF CHOGOKIN - GX-61 DANGUARD ACE - NEW IMAGES
UPDATE - 3/29/2013 - OFFICIAL IMAGES!!!!
This is a thing of beauty!! And this is the first time we're getting a look at his stand/base, too!
July can't get here soon enough!
Here are some great new official images of a figure that I have been dying for for years and years-- the Soul of Chogokin Danguard Ace!!!
Finally, Bandai brings the popular Dangard Ace to their modern classic chogokin series! As one of the very last classic giant robots that were absent from Bandai's line, he is finally absent no longer!
Until this point, the best versions of Dangard were the original Popy versions (GA-78, but more so GA-79!) and the more recent Yamato version, but the Popy figures looked too old to display with the new Chogokin series and the Yamato version-- while really good in it's own right-- still didn't quite fit in with the SOC figures.
But now-- now we've got the real deal-- the best of the best-- SOC version of Danguard Ace heading our way this July!
And to those of you who have been wondering about the true scale of this figure would be (many were trying to determine it from the display pics), the official word is that it will be 190mm, which comes out to 7 1/2" tall! Not nearly as small as many were thinking he'd be. Would it have been better if he was in the Voltes V and Diamos scale? Yes. But at just over an inch shorter, this is still a good sized figure.
If I had one thing about this figure that does disappoint me it would be the fact that he doesn't seem to have any missiles that actually shoot from his chest. Oh man, that would have made him perfect! But still, all in all, I can not wait to add Danguard Ace to the rest of my Chogokin collection!
Looks like I'll be shelling out Y12,600 (approx $135.00) for him in July (probably Aug here in the US).

TOY NEWS FOR 3/25/2013 - NJ CROCE - DC COMICS SUPERHEROES BENDIE FIGURES
No, you're not caught in a time warp. These are actually brand-new bendie figures from bendie figue company DJ Croce. (You may have seen their Gumby figures.)
I can't remember the last time I saw bendie figure styled on modern pop culture characters, but these look far beyond your typical bendies. Each is highly sculpted and styled and come on their own unique blister cards.
The best part about these bendies is that they are styled on comic artist and animation guru Darwin Cooke's artwork-- specifically from the comic book series-- and DC animation film-- New Frontier.
Check these retro-styled beauties out!
Look for them in June for a highly-affordable $7.99 each.
