I'm so excited for this line!
I love Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics so when Mattel finally acquired the Thundercats license (something they had be pursuing for quite some time now) I knew I was all in.
Mattel just finally revealed with the packaging for the figures would be and I do like that they're going with boxed packaging rather than a blister card. While not as cool looking at as the new MOTU Classic 2.0 boxes, it's still a great design.
If you want these figures and didn't pre-order them during the pre-order window on MattyCollector.com, then go help ya. Your only choices now are to either pay a much higher price for them on eBay or to get a Matty Collector account and buy them during the "day of" sale on their site in the 90 second window that they'll be available for before they sell out. (And I am NOT exaggerating!)

TOY NEWS FOR 3/24/2016 - HASBRO - MARVEL LEGNEDS - TOYS R US 3 PACK RELEASED IN HK
A customer in HK snapped this pic of the upcoming Toys R Us exclusive Avengers 3-Pack featuring the Marvel Now! version of Vision, Sam (Falcon) Wilson Captain America and Kate Bishop Hawkeye.
These will probably start hitting US shores within 3-6 weeks so keep an eye out!
I was really hoping that Hasbo was going to include some wings for Sam Wilson's Cap since he has them in the comics-- even though they can retract into a backpack, but I'm sure that's not included, either.
Might have to make some custom wings or just forego the idea of him having them altogether, but it would have been cool putting him on a flight stand with his wings spread... Oh, well.

TOY NEWS FOR 3/22/2016 - HOT TOYS - BATMAN V SUPERMAN - DAWN OF JUSTICE - WONDER WOMAN
I'm not overly familiar with actress Gal Gadot other than knowing that she's playing Wonder Woman in all the upcoming DC films and that she's quite a stunning looking woman. But, I still got the immediate feeling that there was something "off" about this likeness on Hot Toy's upcoming Wonder Woman from Batman v. Superman when I saw it.
The face just looks a bit too soft and "doll like". I'm sure they'll get the likeness closer as they produce more Wonder Woman figures in the future (and you know they will) just as they did with Scarlet Johanssen, but I really, really wish that Hot Toys would start producing two sculpts for their figures. They definitely go for the "blank" expression over any kind of emotional expression, but a lot of these figure really need both. It's hard to pose in cool action poses when they look like they have the expression of a mannequin.
The rest of the figure looks fantastic, of course.
She's set to be released somewhere between July and September for $234.99

TOY NEWS FOR 3/22/2016 - MEZCO - HELLRAISER - 12" PINHEAD FIGURE
NEW PHOTOS ADDED 4/9/2016
I read tons of Clive Barker all throughout high school, including the story titled "The Hellbound Heart" upon which the Hellraiser movie was based.
Barker was all about taking the twisted desires of humanity and bringing them to the physical form with a kind of visceral description that your mind couldn't help but imagine in the most horrific of ways.
While Hellraiser was only loosely based on The Hellbound Heart, Barker took the film several steps further, unleashing a film that was unapologetic about its subject matter and the brutality of its characters. True, it was low-budget and, in some areas, somewhat cheesy at times, it still pushed the boundaries of what had been captured on celluloid before. I don't think that audiences were ready for this film at the time, but thanks for the vision of Barker and the creation of the horrifically brutal Cenobites-- namely Pinhead-- it became a cult film spawning off many sequels, but none captured the true vision of what Barker had created with the first film and the movies dipped further and further into formulaic horror films.
I'll always love that first Hellraiser and the layers of the dark humanity that Barker conveyed to his audience.
Pinhead has acquired many fans (souls?) over the years and still remains fairly popular among geek culture and horror movie enthusiasts, and with that popularity must come toys!
You can thank Mezco for this upcoming 12" Pinhead action figure which looks to be a magnificent rendition of the Cenobite leader.
Price and release date into is pending.

TOY NEWS FOR 3/16/2016 - HASBRO - MARVEL LEGENDS - CAPTAIN AMERICA:CIVIL WAR - GIANT-MAN (ANT-MAN) BUILD-A-FIGURE
Okay, this can't possibly be a spoiler for anyone at this point, can it?
I mean, if you've surfed the web and are a "geek" or collector then you had to have come across either the info (rumor?) that Ant-Man will be growing into Giant-Man in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie.
I guess that Hasbro has decided it's not much of a spoiler at this point either because, after trying to hide this figure as the BAF for the Cap wave of Marvel Legends, they finally released an official image of him.
I think it's a cool idea for a build-a-figure, but he's no where near big enough to truly be Giant-Man. I've seen some comparison pics of him standing next to standard Marvel Legends figures and he looks to be 10" at best.

TOY NEWS FOR 3/16/2016 - HOT TOYS - CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR - HAWKEYE
This is definitely the movie I'm looking forward to the most this year.
There are more Marvel characters than ever jam-packed into this film and I hope it doesn't feel like a total mess, but with Captain America: The Winter Soldier probably being the best of the Marvel films so far, I have complete faith in the Russo Brothers to tackle this one. (And later, the Infinity War 2-part movie.)
Of course these new Hot Toys figures have also got me pretty excited, too. I expect them, as they usually do, to tackle every character from the film, so this is just tip of the iceberg (along with the already announced Captain America, Winter Soldier and War Machine).
This has got to be the best of all the Hawkeye movie uniforms thus far. I think they've finally got his look nailed down. I hope they don't change it up too much for the next movie.
Hawkeye (and 'lil Ant-Man) is set to be released between Aug - Oct for $219.99
