I can only imagine that Hot Toys' Star Wars line can pretty much go on forever, but so far, they've only focused on A New Hope and The Force Awakens...
Speaking to that point, there will be a few new figures based on TFA and Hot Toys revealed two teaser images yesterday, one featuring a 1/4 scale Kylo Ren and the other revealing upcoming figures of Han and Chewie in the 1/6 scale.
Neither of those come as a huge surprise, but what does is the next teaser image-- Yoda from Empire Strikes Back!
Hopefully we'll be seeing more of these figures soon!

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - HOT TOYS - CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR - BLACK WIDOW
I was lucky enough to see Captain America: Civil War last night and let me tell you, it was absolutely awesome! I can not wait to see it again!
Of course as a Marvel film, you can expect to see just about every character represented in Hot Toys' 1/6 scale figure line and the next one announced is the Black Widow.
She'll be released around Nov for $219.99

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - HASBRO - MARVEL LEGENDS - "6 CIVIL WAR 3-PACK
Just announced yesterday is this upcoming Marvel Legends 3-Pack featuring Captain America, Iron Man and Spider-Man from the Civil War film-- which was AMAZING, by the way.
Cap and Iron Man will be the same as the standard release figures except for some by spray "battle-damage" and the inclusion of the unmasked heads, but the Spider-Man is new and, of course, this is the only way to get him.
This set will be released in August for $59.99.

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - MEZCO - ONE:12 COLLECTIVE - DC COMICS THE FLASH and GREEN ARROW
This should be a pretty big year for Mezco's One:12 Collective line-- and I for one seriously hope that it does well. I'd love to see this line continue and see where it goes. Mezco is taking a leap of faith with this line and it is truly unique among US based toy lines. No one else out there is doing a high-end collector line of 6" scale figure featuring real cloth uniforms, alternate hands, heads and a slew of accessories.
Coming in October are DC Comics' The Flash and Green Arrow. Both look fantastic and are sure to please DC and toy fans alike.
Both figures will retail for $75 each and, as mentioned, are due out in October.

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - MEZCO - ONE:12 COLLECTIVE - STAR TREK - EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION SPOCK FROM PILOT EPISODE "THE CAGE"
If you're more of a hardcore Star Trek fan then you probably know-- and have seen-- the pilot episode of the show called "The Cage".
In this pilot, the only character that went on to the regular series was Mr. Spock. I did like The Cage a lot. It's definitely a Star Trek episode filled with all the usual themes of the series, but it features Captain Pike in the captain's chair and Majel Barrett as "Number One"-- a moniker that was revived on Next Generation as Picard called Riker "Number One".
Spock wasn't quite yet the Spock we'd know him to be as he's a lot more human like in this episode and he even smiles in a few scenes.
Mezco is releasing this limited-edition figure of Spock in their One:12 Collective line from that pilot episode.
He was originally priced at well over $100, but they have lowered the price (presumedly due to low sales because of the original, outrageous price) to $89.99.
They are calling this a "limited time sale", so go an grab him here now if you want one.

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - McFARLANE TOYS - 7" WALKING DEAD and 5" DARYL DIXON WITH MOTORCYCLE
Could this Daryl figure be the final 5" scale Walking Dead product from McFarlane Toys? Much to the chagrin of many, many TWD collectors, chances are high that that's the case, but it's not definite quite yet.
At the request of retailers, McFarlane of moving away from the smaller figures into larger 7" deluxe figures focusing more on recognizable character rather than filling out the line with the complete cast.
With Rick, Michonne and Travis already announced, McFarlane Toys is now giving us a look at who will be following them in the next wave.
In September, you can look forward to a 7" Daryl, Abraham and Madison from Fear TWD.
Daryl with his bike will be released in September for $34.99 and the 7" figure will retail for $19.99 each.

TOY NEWS FOR 5/6/2016 - FUNKO - 3.75" GAME OF THRONES FIGURES
Sadly, Funko's 6" Game of Thrones figure line turned out to be a bust a retail. I did like the figures, and the second series was definite a step above the first, but I guess they didn't do well enough at retail to continue forward.
However, Funko will be continuing with the license in a new 3.75" action figure line. Hopefully the lower price point will attract more casual GoT fans as well as action figure fans and we'll see this version of their GoT figure line carry on far beyond the previous one.
They're starting off with characters from "The Wall", as this wave features the likes of Jon Snow, Sam and Ygritte. There is also a "Wall" playset that includes an exclusive Tyrion figure as he appeared in the first season when he went to the Wall with John Snow.
While in the same scale as their ReAction figures, these will be of a higher quality with elbow and knee articulation.
Look for the figures to ship in June for $9.99 each and the Wall Playset to ship in July for $34.99
