TOY NEWS FOR 5/2/2013 - SDCC 2013 - MATTEL - EXCLUSIVE - HOT WHEELS - ASTEROIDS STYLED "BEACH BOMB" PICK-UP

Now this is awesome!! I mean, it makes absolutely no sense, but it's still freakin' awesome.

The van is cool-- and is an homage to one of the older Hot Wheels (I don't know the name of that one, but I'm sure someone does, I just ain't that someone)-- but the best part is the packaging. It looks like an Asteroids arcade machine with the van housed behind the screen. Now that's what I call package design!
