TOY NEWS FOR 12/4/2014 - HOT TOYS - MMS - STAR WARS - SHADOWTROOPER (SHOW EXCLUSIVE)

UPDATE 12/5/2014 - This figure is now up for pre-order over at Sideshow's site for $219.99. He has a release date of January making him the first of the new Hot Toys Star Wars figures to be released.

This is an obvious move for almost any US toy company-- recolor an existing mold to create a "new" figure, but it's not something that Hot Toys is usually known for. Still, the results are fairly spectacular.

I'm not a fan of the various characters that appear in the secondary Star Wars products like books and games, but I do think that the Shadowtroopers are pretty awesome looking.

Like the Hot Rod Iron Man armor, this one will also be a show exclusive in HK, however it will very likely also be available through Sideshow in limited quantities. No official word on that yet, however.
