Hasbro is really going all out with their support of Guardians of the Galaxy!
Are they and Marvel/Disney hoping that it will be the next Star Wars for a new generation? I'm certainly excited to see the film, but I have no idea how the general public will take the idea of Marvel characters that they've never heard of having a space adventure.
If the film is better then the average Cap or Thor movie, and closer to the Avengers in terms of scope and quality, then I think it stands a good chance of being something huge.
Expect to see the usual kids toys with this line, including over-sized electronic figure, Titan Heroes and.... 2" figures?!
No 3.75" figures for this movie... Odd.
But there will be some awesome looking Legends figures with a Groot Build-A-Figure!! And the line will also include comic book styled versions of Iron Man in his new Space Armor and a band-new Nova!

Hasbro may be biting off more than they can chew with this one. I don't think many people are going to be supporting Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of collecting the toys. It's too obscure a title.
