The Toy Biz version was definitely bad ass, but Mezco's 6 inch version clearly blows it away.
I'm really anxious to get one of the Mezco's new figure in hand (the other being The Dark Knight version of Batman, due out some time this month) as this style of figure, at this level of quality, hasn't been attempted before.
All the figure in Mezco's One:12 Collective line will feature cloth costumes, extra hands, (in some cases, extra heads) and a variety of character-specific accessories.
With Dredd here, I would have liked to have seen something more metallic used for his right shoulder armor, but it's still a great looking figure.
Judge Dredd will retail for $65. No firm release date has been set yet.
