This is pretty damn cool. Much cooler and than last year's TMNT vs Kobra Kai, at least to me, anyway.
The next theme in the TMNT vs line will be TMNT vs Street Fighter. Yeah, that definitely works for me.
The first wave of 2-Packs will be Leonardo vs Ryu and Michelangelo vs Chun Li. The second wave (which we'll see pictures of later) will be Raphael vs Guile and Donatello vs Ken.
I know Playmates will probably stop there, but I'd love to see this line continue, mainly for the Street Fighter figures, but I do like the comic book styled Turtles, too.
These will all be 6" scale figures. No word on pricing info or a release date yet.
Man, that's how I feel, too. I really want someone to start a series of well articulated and reasonably priced Street Fighter figures that goes beyond just a handful of characters. I don't see that happening with Playmates.
ReplyDeleteMe too. And, yeah, probably not, but if they got the license to do Street Fighter, I'm hoping they'll want to use it for more than just this.
DeleteI always hope that but, man, Playmates barely does anything with TMNT beyond the same group of characters these days. I'd love to have a Marvel Legends styled line with at least the Street Fighter 2 cast and some of the more modern favorites.
