HOT TOYS - 1/4 SCALE IRON MAN Mk IV and IRON MAN Mk IV WITH SUIT-UP GANTRY

What's that you say? You still haven't gotten your fill of Iron Man figures and collectibles yet? And not only that, but you want another Iron Man figure from Hot Toys that you can dump weeks of your income into?

Well, what a coincidence, because here is some great news for you!

Hot Toys has just unveiled a new 1/4 scale (that's about 18") Iron Man Mk IV from the first Avengers film. You can get him by his lonesome, or as a set with the man himself and his (pretty awesome) Suit-Up Gantry.

As you have come to expect from Hot Toys, this one is going to not only be a figure and collectible, but a awesome conversation piece for you and anyone else who lays eyes on it in your home. It will come complete with all the usual Iron Man bells and whistles, like that sweet paint job, a dead-on likeness of Robert Downey Jr, a bunch of light-up effects as well as bunch of opening flaps on the armor to unveil an arsenal of ass-kicking weaponry.

You can get all of these in June of 2023. The Iron Man himself will run you $609.99, while the Gantry by itself will cost $484.99. If you want them as a set, you can save yourself about 36 bucks and get them as a set for $1,054.99.

MEZCO ONE:12 COLLECTIVE - SILENT HILL 2 - RED PYRAMID THING

I used to love this game. It was creepy as hell. And they even managed to do a decent movie or two based on the franchise. One of the craziest designs in the game was this guy, known only as The (Red) Pyramid Thing. If he ever got a hold of you in the game, you were done for.

Just in case you don't still have nightmares of that very thing happening to you, Mezco is here to jog your memory with their One:12 Collective version of this creepy weirdo.

If your the kind of collector who is a glutton for fear and nightmares, you can add this guy to your shelf to watch over you as you sleep in November of this year for $100.00.

ASMUS TOYS - LORD OF THE RINGS - 1:6 SCALE NASGUL (RINGWRAITH) FIGURE

Hard to believe, but after all these years, Asmus Toys is still going strong with their line of 1/6 scale Lord of the Rings figures. They do great figures, so it's not hard to believe in that respect, but LOTR certainly had its time and I collected all of the ToyBiz stuff back in the day, but to see LOTR still going strong-- especially at this scale and this price point-- is slightly surprising.

I am a huge fan of the brand, so I wish I had started collecting these figure way back when they started, but now I'll have to settle for admiring them from afar.

Up next, Asmus has the Nazgul (or Ringwraith) headed for your collection. As usual, the detailing and execution look to be top notch.

Look for it to start hitting your favorite toy sites in Q2 of this year for $199.99

McFARLANE TEASES A NEW CLASSIC SPAWN FIGURE FOR 2022

Well, this was a bit of a no-brainer. With Spawn back on toy shelves again this past year, one figure was sorely missing-- Spawn himself.

If you have some of the older Spawn figures, they might look okay with the newer figures that came out in 2021, but the overall execution and design of the new figures are quite different from what McFarlane did in those older days. You may also be like me and own the Kickstarter Spawn, but he's a little small when stood side-by-side with the newer figures. So, what we really need is a proper Spawn figure to go with this new Spawn line.

With this teaser image provided by Spawn creator Todd McFarlane himself, it looks like a new Spawn may not be that far off. At a first glance, it looks like he'll share some parts with the Mortal Kombat version of the character.

I'm glad Spawn is back and doing well in both the toy and comic stores once again.

HOMELESS BRUCE WAYNE COMING FROM McFARLANE TOYS

Well, The Batman movie starring Robert Pattenson is not off to a great start with the unveiling of this rather ugly figure of Bruce Wayne from McFarlane Toys. He's being called the "Drifter" Bruce Wayne, which I assume is a nice way of saying "homeless" in this PC day and age. There will also be a motorcycle (which will be sold separately) to accompany the figure.

Does the showing of this figure excite you for the rest of the line, or the movie in general?
