McFARLANE TOYS - NEW DC MULTIVERSE FIGURES COMING SOON

Is there a company out there who hits us with new product more than McFarlane Toys does? I guess it's a good sign, because it means that McFarlane Toys is doing well, and their stuff must be selling, because, otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing so much of it.

Now, I was a huge fan of McFarlane Toys when they first hit and years afterwards. These days... Ehhh... They're okay, for the most part. They have some good figures, they have some clunkers. I don't think they even come close to carrying the "artist's toy line" level of prestige that they used to, though.

But, enough about me! Let's talk about these new figures!

Up for pre-order now are these new Batman Beyond based figures. Let's take a look at 'em, shall we?

HASBRO - STAR WARS BLACK SERIES - BOBA FETT (PROTOTYPE ARMOR)

UPDATE - Now available on Amazon only for the strange price of $26.49. Due to ship out in Dec of this year. (A year away?!?)

Well, I guess Hasbro is playing it smart. Boba Fett is back on the top of the Star Wars heap. His new show just debuted on Disney+ and Hasbro has plenty of Fett figures and sculpts ready to be used and reused to take advantage of the hype.

Previously only available at Walgreens in 2014, Hasbro is re-releasing the all white Boba Fett in his "prototype armor". This is how his suit originally looked when he was still being created as a new type of Stormtrooper armor and before the design was re-colored and re-used for the bounty hunter we've all come to know and love.

This figure is part of the 6" Black Series line and will go up for pre-order tomorrow (Tues 1/5/22) at 1PM Eastern time. Check your favorite site at that time tomorrow to secure yours.

RAMEN TOY SHOWS PROGRESS ON NEW LINE OF SILVERHAWKS FIGURES

You may already know that Super7 is doing a new line of 7" Silverhawks figures, but they won't be the only game in town. Independent toy maker Ramen Toy will also be releasing a line of figures from the beloved, classic brand.

it looks like they're just getting started on things, but they seem to be coming along nicely.

If you're not aware of Ramen Toy, their first venture into the toy market came late last year with their "80's Commanders" line, an homage to another classic toy line: The Centurions. (You can check them out here-- https://ramentoy.com/)

While that line was unlicensed, the Silverhawks will be fully licensed by, well, whoever owns the license, I suppose.

And, if you thought Super7's figures were a bit expensive (over priced?), then Ramen Toy says "hold my beer" to that. If the Silverhawks follow the same pricing as their 80's Commanders line, then you can expect to pay around $90 a piece for their figures, and that's not including tax and shipping from China.

Ramen Toy says the first wave of Silverhawks should be ready to be released in May of this year with pre-orders opening later this month.

FRESH MONKEY TOYS - COPS N CROOKS 5-PACK

Well, it's almost a dream come true for fans of Hasbro's 80's line of toys: Cops 'N Crooks.

It looks like they will be making a return, but not in the way a lot of us might have hoped.

Hasbro will not be making new toys, but instead have licensed out the brand to independent toy maker Fresh Monkey Toys to do small, M.U.S.C.L.E. style figures in this new 5-pack featuring some of the main character from the original line.

There will be three styles of the 5-pack available. One in all green, another in the orange color of the original M.U.S.C.L.E. line, and lastly, the one everyone will want, the fully colored version.

These are available for pre-order now at most major online retailers. The green and orange sets will sell for 24.99 while the colored set will be 29.99. All are slated to be released sometime in the first quarter (Jan-March) of this year.

MATTEL - WWE - ULTIMATE EDITION ALEXA BLISS

I'm going to let you all know that I know nothing about current wrestling. In the 80's, I lived and breathed WWF. I loved it as much as I loved my comics, cartoons and toys-- and trust me, that's a lot.

But, I fell out of it many, many years ago. So, forgive my ignorance when it comes to the current wrestling scene.

Of course, I know there are a lot of people who still love the WWE and their wrestling figures, so I'll do my best to cover all the news that I can here about upcoming releases.

Just revealed by Mattel is this new Alexa Bliss figure that will be a part of their Ultimate line of figures, so you can expect her to have all the extra stuff that makes her "ultimate", including 2 head sculpts and an extra set of hands.

Look for her to be released as part of the Wave 12 series (along with The Fiend) in March for around 36.99

SUPER7 REVEALS A TEASER FOR NEW UPCOMING ReACTION LINE OF FIGURES

If you're a kid from the 70's (like myself), then the first"superheroes" you grew up with on TV were probably not the ones most people might remember, but in my six year old mind, they definitely were.

I'm talking about Steve Austin and Jamie Summers, better known as the Bionic Man and the Bionic Woman.

It's been a long time since these two have had a chance to grace our toy shelves. Aside from the original 70's Kenner line of toys (and, boy, did I love those as a kid!), there's only been one other small and short lived series of 3.75" figures from Zica toys a few years back.

But, Super7 is letting us know that Steve and Jamie's hiatus is over and that they will be bringing us a new line of figures in their 3.75" ReAction line.

While I appreciate the retro feel of these figures, I'm really hoping that we see something in their Ultimates line of figures. But, either way, I'm happy that the Bionic Man and Woman are headed back to duty in 2022!

Here's the teaser. I'm sure there will be more info to come very soon.
