Way to go, McFarlane Toys! You're helping those of us who need Daryle-- of which I'm one-- while... killing the aftermarket on the original release. Actually, maybe not. MOC collectors may still want an original release Daryl, so I'm interested to see how this release will effect the original's value.
But, that aside, this particular version of Daryl, while originally hard to find, is not up to snuff with the recent Series 3 figures. Not to mention Daryl's look has changed quite a bit since the first season.
Daryl won't be in Series 4 or 5, but maybe we can look for a new version of him in series 6 (which would be a year away at this point), that is unless they >gasp< kill him off!!
Of course this set also includes the devious yet, in the end, somewhat heroic older Dixon brother Merle (played by the brilliant Michael Rooker) in a different color scheme than his original Series 3 release.
