How many different Iron Man figures do you think have been made in the past five years? How many more are to come? The answer to both is: a million!!!
Okay, maybe not that many, but it feels like I'm reporting on a new damned Iron Man figure every week!
So, this NECA's way of off-setting some costs of the 100% original tooling of the first 1/4 scale Iron Man release, but at least this is still a fairly legitimate release on its own. And it comes with the Tony Stark head.
And... yeah... about that Tony Start head... I hope they give it a little more love before it gets released because the one on display at Comic-Con was a bit of a bug-eyed, misshapen freak.
It would be great is this head was swappable with a battle-damaged helmeted head, but since that probably doesn't fit into the figure's budget and it hasn't been mentioned yet, I'm thinking that it probably won't.
No release date yet, but it should be in the $90 price range, depending on where you buy it.
