Remember the bizarre plot in
Superman III where Clark quit being Superman to bang a cracked out looking Lois Lane and he ended up fighting a freakish "dark" version of himself in a junkyard? Was it supposed to be real? Was it metaphorical? Were we supposed to know? Did the filmmakers even know? Anyway, as strange as that scene was in the movie, this choice for a five o'clock shadowed Christopher Reeve Superman seems equally as odd-- but also equally as obvious. Let's be honest: this is a "cash-in" figure. This is just a reuse of old shit that was already made, and, with a few changes,-- voilĂ !-- they've got a "brand new" figure to sell.
Thankfully, this is not a general release, but rather a
"Toy Fairs" (Convention)
Exclusive. Meaning that only the people who
really want it will probably be bothered to get it.
More info on all of these summer "Toy Fairs" Exclusives should be forthcoming. Stay tuned.
