This week, for Hasbro's "Obi-Wan Wednesdays", we got a reveal of the rest of the wave joining Reva in the Retro Collection Series.
I really love this version of Darth Vader. Towards the latter half of the original Kenner line, they replaced the vinyl capes with cloth ones- but only for new figures. When characters like Vader got re-released on later cards, they still retained their original vinyl cape. Now, for the first time, we're getting a version of Vader as if he was designed for Return of the Jedi and Power of the Force. I love the cloth cape and the separate, red lightsaber. I'll be getting that one for sure.
All of these figures, which includes Darth Vader, The Fifth Brother, The Grand Inquisitor, NED-8 and Obi-Wan will go up for -pre-order tomorrow at 1pm Eastern time for $11.99 each.
