Two new upcoming figures coming to Star Wars The Black Series from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series were just revealed today.
We're getting a second version of Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi as he appeared in the first episode of the series in his Tibidon Station outfit. This will be a Target exclusive and can be pre-ordered tomorrow (6/2) on Target's website.
The second figure is his once best friend, now sworn enemy, Darth Vader.
Now, I haven't watched the 3rd episode yet, but if this figure is correct to how he appears in the show, then someone, somewhere, screwed up.
In A New Hope, Darth's cloak (not cape) went over his upper armor. It wasn't until ESB that the cloak went under it. So, in the continuity of this show (and figure), his cloak should be over the armor. Obviously, on this figure, it's not. I'm curious to see how it was handled on the show.
No pre-order for these two until tomorrow, 6/2 at 1pm Eastern.
