Thanks to these magazine scans we're getting our first look at two new upcoming figures from Hot Toys.
One is an obvious choice: the Mark 42 armor from the upcoming Iron Man 3 movie. The other was rumored, but never officially announced-- and I didn't think would make the light of day considering all the other figures Hot Toys had in the works-- Whiplash in his Mark II armor from the end of Iron Man 2.
Once again, these will be part of the new Diecast line that Hot Toys will be doing with all of their upcoming Iron Man figures, so expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $100 more for these than they would normally be.
Some won't mind paying the extra cash for even more realistic figures while others will think it's just another Hot Toys ploy to milk their fans for more money! Not that I'm one of those people....
Since this is our first look at these unpainted prototype figures, expect to see a lot more news on them coming down the road soon.
