Today kicked off the first day/week of NECA and Target's Haul-a-Thon, aaaand... things didn't go great at the start.
Many items were showing up as "coming soon" when they should have been available when the event opened up earlier today. This left many collector's confused about whether these items were actual sold out.
Well, the good news is that everything eventually went up.... aaaand then quickly sold out. As of this writing, the only things still available are the TMNT Pizza Monster and the signed edition of the Rupaul Chi-Pet.
Other than that, the other items, which include both the signed and regular editions of Fugitoid, glow-in-the-dark Muckman, Ultimate Foot Soldier and the Rat King & Vernon 2-Pack are all sold out.
You'd think for an event like this one-- which Target and NECA have been promoting for weeks now-- that they'd have enough product for it to at least last for a few days, not an hour. But, once again, these companies continue to underestimate demand for their own product and fans are left feeling angry and bitter towards them.
The only consolation is thy all of these items will also be available in physical Target stores.
Hopefully next Friday will go a little smoother, although I'm not counting on it.
Here's a little look at some new pics of former an upcoming Haul-A-Thon products.
