This thing is a beautiful beast of a figure, and it's part of their Die-Cast line, so you can only imagine how truly impressive it will to handle in person.
But, with Iron Man 2 so far behind us, is this coming just a little too late? Will you be willing to pay $400 for Whiplash knowing that the onslaught of new Marvel movie figures (Captain America: Winter Soldier, Amazing Spider-Man 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men: Days of Future Past) are just around the corner and Hot Toys will soon be burying us under a ton of great new figures?
In my opinion, this was the best scene of the film (too bad it was so short and there weren't more like it in the movie), and if you already have the Iron Man Mk VI and War Machine Mk I, then this is going to be the figure you need to make one hell of a display! (Just check out the last photos at the bottom.)
You'll be waiting well over a year for this guy as he's not slated to be released until April of 2015 (but expect him to be pushed back even further as that date grows near) at a price of $399.99
