I haven't played any of the games (not my cup of tea), but I know how rabid of a following the game has-- and the figures do look great--, so this announcement should please many game and action figure enthusiasts.

There will also be a "Secret Assassin" figure from a new, upcoming game that has yet to be unveiled.
Series 3 is scheduled for an October release for around $12.99 each (unless you buy them at Toys R Us...)
