HASBRO - NEW MARVEL LEGENDS REVEALS - X-MEN, SPIDER-MAN, FANTASTIC FOUR AND MORE

Today was another big day for Marvel Legends fans as the Hasbro team took to Instagram to show us some more, new, upcoming releases.

In the ML Retro 3.75" line is a new figure that actually stands quite a bit taller than the rest in the form of the mutant hunting Sentinel. This figure will comes on a much larger cardboard to accommodate it's size. If you're a fan of this line and open/display your retro figures, then you'll be sure to want to grab a few of these for your X-Men display.

From the live-action MCU realm, we have another character joining the upcoming Disney+ wave with Sharon Carter from her appearance in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.

If you're one of the collectors who pre-ordered the Haslab Galactus, then you're going to need this next figure. Joining the Fantastic Four retro carded series is Galatus' herald Firelord.

But, wait, there's more retro carded goodness heading our way with a figure from an new line of retro carded figures (which is strange as this line will be coming to an end due to Hasbro's "no plastic" packaging). War Machine will be the first figure to kick off a new line of retro carded Iron Man figures.

As this year is Spider-Man's 80th Anniversary, we got a look at two new upcoming figures.

The first is Spider-Man as "Bag Man" from a comic story-line where Spidey lost his costume and had to borrow a Fantastic Four suit from Johnny Storm (the Human Torch) and wore a bag on his head to still keep his identity secret. He even comes with a "kick me" sign that attaches to his bag as Johnny stuck one on Spidey's back in the comic. Unfortunately, this figure will be a Target exclusive.

The other Spider-Man figure is absolutely eclectic and we had heard rumors that he was coming to the ML line. Coming to the US is this figure based on the 70's live-action Japanese TV series. This was a much different interpretation of Spider-Man and you can watch more about him on YouTube and on Disney+, where they did a documentary on his whole history. The only thing missing with this version of Spidey is his giant robot Leopardon. And, believe it or not, this version of Spidey is what actually started the Super Hero/Giant Robot craze that still carries through to this day, most famously in the Power Rangers series.

The final reveal for Marvel Legends was a box set featuring Mojo (a Hasbro first), Longshot (also a Hasbro first) and Dazzler (sans jacket). There's also a little version of Wolverine as he appeared in a Mojo World stoyline.

The last few moments of the Instagram stream revolved around this little teaser item. They spoke about Gambit, as it looks like a hand holding a playing card, but it was too thick to be a playing card (to my eyes, anyway), plus, the team would not tease something and then immediately reveal what it was. That's not how they operate. So, speculate away to what upcoming figure this hand belongs to.

All of these figure will be going up for pre-order at the usual places tomorrow (5/19) at 1pm Eastern Time. The Target exclusive "Bag-Man" Spidey should be going up on Target around the same time, as well. No word on if Hasbro Pulse will have the usual limited quantities available for that figure.
