Well, sadly, I'm not as impressed with these figures in the close-up pics as a I was when I originally saw the display picures (below). These pictures are more in line with what a I actually expected from Medicom. The material doesn't look right, the stitching is bad (especially under the breasts-- really bad!) and what is up with the giant nipples poking through?? Why is it that Medicom does such a brilliant job with the Kamen Rider series but everything is just so sub-par?
Maybe I'm being too harsh. Take a look at the pics and decide for yourself.
They are scheduled to be released later this year/early next year at a price of around $200 each.
Medicom recently showed off some product at a Toy Show in Japan last week, and among the products were these new figures of Harley Quinn and Catwoman based on Jim Lee's Batman: Hush comic book storyline.
Medicom is my least favorite of the high-end 1/6 collectible companies-- even though they kicked the whole thing off for me and many other collectors back in the mid 90's. They do an amazingly brilliant job with the Kamen Rider license, but beyond that, I'm not usually too impressed. However, I will say that these two ladies do look pretty good. I especially like the Catwoman. The whip look pretty weak, though.
