TOY NEWS FOR 4/13/2013 - DIAMOND SELECT TOYS - STAR TREK: NEXT GENERATIONS - CAPTAIN JEAN-LUC PICARD

Is this a figure of Patrick Stewart's stunt double?? Who the hell is this guy?? This is not Patrick Stewart. Bald with a pronounced nose does not make a Captain Picard figure-- it's actually gotta look like the guy! This does not.

And what's with the idea of making "action statues"?? Pre-posed action figures?? No, no, no.... Pick one. Either make an action figure, or make a statue, but don't make a "staction figure". The whole point of a figure is in the fun of posing it! Making your own pose! I don't want swapable pre-posed arms, legs and/or torsos.

Sorry, but I just think it's a terrible idea.

I really loved DST's original Trek action figure line, though. I still have them. Great figures. Key word: FIGURES.
