TOY NEWS FOR 4/20/2014 - BOSS FIGHT STUDIOS - H.A.C.K.S. (HIGHLY ARTICULATED CHARACTER KIT SYSTEM) - VITRUVIAN - SEIRES 1

Boss Fight Studios.

Remember their name, because they have done, and will be doing some of the most brilliant looking 3.75" action figures collectors have ever seen.

They are the independent sculpting and design studio behind many, many of Hasbro's figures from their Star Wars, GI Joe, Marvel Legends and other lines-- and now they're about to cut loose with their own creations.

The line is called HACKS (Highly Articulated Character Kit System), and the series is called Vitruvian, a reference to the great Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. Certainly fitting given BFS's ability to design and create figures, as well as the subject of their first series-- ancient warriors from Rome and Greece, as well as mythical Gorgans.

Boss Fight Studios has big, big plans for this line. So much so that they are testing the waters with an idea of releasing a special pack of 300 (three hundred!!) Spartan Warriors, with King Leonidas as one of the 300.

While that's a bit out of control for my collection space, I'm definitely going to be picking up some of these figures-- perhaps even all of them!

But before we get too far ahead, let me tell you that most of this is dependent on a successful Kickstarter campaign. So, if you want any of these figures, be sure to stop by and give them a pledge once it goes live.

Let's take a look at what they've got planned....

And here's a look at some of the prototype figures that were on display at last week's JoeCon.

I'll be sure to post more info on this line as it becomes available.

With retail unable to bring adult collectors the kind of quality, creative product that they used to, more direct market actions figure just very well be the future of collecting for a lot of us. Here's a chance to get in on the ground floor and show your support for Boss Fight Studios as well as the possible future of where much of our collecting will come.
