TOY FAIR 2013 COVERAGE!!!
Personally, I've bailed out on the Marvel Universe series. It was definitely great to have so many characters from the Marvel Universe available for the first time in action figure form-- along with all the great classic characters, too-- but it just all got to be too much. It took up too much room and the figures were just "okay". For $10 plus tax they just didn't seem worth it anymore. Plus, they are too damn hard to find at retail these days! And if ten bucks is a stretch for the quality I'm getting with these, then I'm definitely not into paying secondary market prices.
If I was still collecting though, I'd be loving the Cloak and Dagger. Not great looking figures, but some of my favorite B characters from Marvel, for sure. I used to love the comic (drawn by the amazing Rick Leonari) as a kid. The Thor 3-pack also looks good. My top pick is definitely the new Iron Man as he's currently appearing in the new "Marvel Now!" comics.

where will the team pack with cyclops and Emma frost be available?
ReplyDeleteThere has been no announcement of those being an exclusive, so all the usual places should be carrying it.

ReplyDeleteThere hasn't been word on that set since NY Toy Fair, and I didn't see it shown as Comic Con this year in July. The possibility exists that it may have either been pushed back or cancelled all together.
DeleteHasbro is re-branding the Marvel U line as an Avengers line and since this isn't Avengers related, it's fate remains a mystery.
If we do see the set, I expect it might show up next summer when the next X-Men movies is released.
