If you're a fan of anime or Japanese toys, then these probably have some obvious appeal to you. If you're into more traditional looking DC characters, then this stuff probably has you thinking "WTF???"

Either way, there's no denying that, as action figure, they are freaking fantastic looking!

This new line is all original designs of your favorite DC heroes by the talented artist and designers at Play Arts. The first trio of figures will be Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, with The Flash and Batgirl announced to follow.

They will be released in August for $80 each.
