From what I understand, this particular Ultra-- Ultraman Jonias-- originated in an animated series. Later, he made a few small guest appearances in a few live-action Ultraman movies.
Bandai plans on releasing both versions through their Ultra-Act line. For US collectors, the bad part is that this will be yet another one of Bandai's Tamashii Web exclusives, which will make it much harder to obtain, and the price higher on the secondary market.
