TOY NEWS FOR 11/21/2012 - HASBRO - CLONE WARS - NEW FIGURES FOR 2013

Hasbro completely screwed Star Wars up this past year. They banked insanely hard on the 3-D re-release of The Phantom Menace being a big deal that they released a bazillion figures for that movie. The worst part was that they released a lot of the same figures on different cards all at the same time. They also did an all Phantom Menace Vintage Collection wave the completely killed that line dead.

Way to go, Hasbro. Way to shoot yourself in the foot and get retailers to lose faith in the line. Way to clog up the pegs for an entire year with the same 12 figures on three (if you count Walmart) different packaging styles.

Way to kill the only line that I actually liked and bought since the 90's.

I guess the Clone Wars stuff still did okay through the TPM debacle that Hasbro created, so it's still alive and well.

So, here's a look at some new (seems like a lot of the same figures/characters to me, but okay) Clone Wars figures coming in 2013.
