For one-- they need to be clear, not milky white. And for two-- they are way too bulky and thick. The idea of a flight stand is to give the illusion that the character is flying. If the stand itself is more massive than the figure, it takes way too much of the focus away from the figure you're trying to display.
The best figure stands-- which can also be used as flight stands-- are Bandai's Tamashii stands. They are clear plastic and very narrow and low profile. They don't compete with the figure-- they showcase it. I have several and I highly recommend them. You can pick them up from Amazon.
Anyway, these will be available on MattyCollector.com sometime soon for $15-- which seems to be for only one stand since their description does not mention multiple stands for that price. (BTW, you get three of the far superior Tamashii stands for the same price.)
