The Batman Set is straight from the movie. I'm not 100% sure (I'm only a toy news reporter after all!) but I think this is the first and only LEGO set based off the new movie.
Great choice of both vehicles and characters for this set. If it only included Selena Kyle on the Batcycle it would be perfect! Everything you'd need to represent The Dark Knight Rises in LEGO form! But, alas...
Now this Daily Bugle Set-- NICE! Great choice for a Spider-Man set and much better than some made up "villian's hideout" type set. I would have loved to have had something like this as a LEGO set back in the 70's! "Spider-Man, Spider-Man... Does what ever a spider can..." Ahhh... the memories.
